Privacy Policy

Effective July 2, 2026

This is my personal website. This page describes what is collected when you visit and what happens with it.

What gets collected

Like most websites, this site records standard visit data. Four tools are in use:

  • Server request logs (Cloudflare). Every request is logged with the network your IP address belongs to (for example, your internet provider or employer's network), approximate location (city, region, country), the page requested, the referring URL, and your browser's user-agent string.
  • Google Analytics. Pages viewed, how you arrived (search, link, direct), session behavior, and device information, collected via cookies.
  • Microsoft Clarity. Anonymized session replays and heatmaps — scrolling, clicks, and navigation — used to understand how pages are read.
  • RB2B. For some visitors in the United States, IP- and cookie-based identity resolution that may associate a visit with a name, employer, or public professional profile such as LinkedIn.

How it's used

To understand who reads this site and which content is useful — nothing more. Visit data is not sold, is not used for advertising, and is not shared with anyone beyond the four services named above, each of which processes it under its own privacy policy: Cloudflare, Google, Microsoft, and RB2B.

Your choices

  • Google Analytics can be disabled with the GA opt-out browser add-on.
  • Content and tracker blockers work here — this site does nothing to circumvent them.
  • RB2B's identity resolution and opt-out process are described in the RB2B privacy policy.
  • Clearing or blocking cookies limits Google Analytics, Clarity, and RB2B. Server request logs are a property of serving the page itself.

Retention

Data lives in the tools above under their default retention settings. I keep aggregate statistics (page views, referrers, visitor organizations) indefinitely.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the update is posted here with a new effective date. Questions: [email protected].
